"No-Tell Hotel" Happy Hour Photos Posted

We trust everyone had a heart-felt Valentines... and if not, then we hope everyone got lucky!!!
Seriously, thank you to everyone who helped make our "No-Tell Hotel" Pre Valentine Happy Hour at the James hotel a huge success.
All together we raised about $2000 for the Alexian Brothers AIDS Ministry. Below is a portion of the thank you sent to all the members of The BGCC:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and residents of Alexian Brothers AIDS Ministry, thank you for your gift $1930.00. We are grateful to be selected as one of the organizations to benefit from your monthly event. Your gift makes a genuine difference in the lives of the men and women at Bonaventure House and The Harbor. Your generosity supports our vision to transform the lives of people with HIV/AIDS within a compassionate, supportive community by providing a home, comprehensive services and spiritual care. The work that happens at Bonaventure House and The Harbor on a daily basis is truly transformational. Our residents meet the challenges everyday of building hope and a stable future. The "No-Tell Hotel" Happy Hour
Hey Lovers,
We have found a PERFECTLY FABULOUS location for our February's pre-Valentine's Day BGCC at The James hotel. They welcome us to their warm, sexy and super-chic boutique spaces that are guaranteed to get you IN the MOOD for Valentine's Day!
We'll start upstairs overlooking Ontario Avenue, finally ending at J Bar, the James' fabulous nightclub. What happens in between? That's up to you - and we'll never tell!

DRINK SPECIAL: $9 Kettle One Martinis, $7 Kettle One Drinks & special pricing on all beverages!

Art Against AIDS: Special Invitation & March Sneak Preview
February is also time for the Heartland Alliance's annual Art Against AIDS. BGCC memebers are invited to attend the Heartland event February 26th. Our March BGCC will also feature a silent auction in support of Art Against AIDS. The annual Art Against AIDS features live and silent fine art auctions. This after-work cocktail party boasts a variety of mediums by artists from all over the country. To purchase discouted tickets for Heartland Alliance's Art Against AIDS 2009 on February 26th, call Colleen at 312.660.1339. BGCC members can purchase tickets for $100 (full price is $125). The event will be held at 6pm at the River East Art Center. The proceeds from the event help Heartland Alliance's HIV/AIDS programs and services, including primary care, referrals, assistance with transportation and labe costs, houseing, alternative therapies sich as chiropractic treatment and massage therapy, HIV prevention and oral health care.
